SGT. Rock

This is the first of a few illustrations that I worked for an exhibition called "Comic Genres" of a local comic convention. The exhibition was composed of a representation of the 10 most prominent comic genres, made up of 10 iconic characters and 10 authors. I worked a total of 3 scenes and 3 authors.
And here's the scene starring by Sgt. Rock, who's possibly the most popular character inside the war genre of DC Comics. Created by the cartoonist Joe Kubert in the following years from the Second World War's end, when his adventures take place, Sgt. Rock appears first time in the "Our Army at War" comic, in 1959.
