Sonic The Hedgehog Redesign

As usual, after finishing a work and before another, I've found time to explore my own ideas, although this one that I bring today has something special for me.

When I was a kid, I loved to play videogames and especially with Sega's wonderful blue hedgehog, "Sonic the Hedgehog". This great character marked many generations and for me it wasn't different, so since then I haven't stopped drawing it one and thousand times.
7 years ago I tried an updated version, more mature and messy, that never convinced me at all.

So much time later and as result of the experience, in part of an afternoon after a couple of strokes I look at this character's face and I smile saying "at last!".

It's hard work to re-design a character so complicated but after so long I have managed to bring to life my personal vision of this fast blue hedgehog.
